Madre Labs Organics is a awesome company that makes wonderful products that are free from sulfates, parabens, dyes, animal ingredients and animal testing. AND the ingredients are gentle, biodegradable and “green”.
When I was asked if I’d like to review Madre Labs’ personal care products I eagerly agreed. I fully expected to receive a few sample-sized products so you can imagine my surprise when I received a box of full sized ones instead! Madre Labs personal care products include shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash. Their trademarked label is “NO no-no’s”, which means no sulfates, parabens, dyes, animal testing or animal ingredients. They are pH Balanced, use eco-friendly packaging, are made in the USA and made with biodegradable ingredients. You can’t ask for much more than that when it comes to personal care products. These products contain a propriety blend of antioxidant-rich super fruits (Acai, Goji, Pomegranate and Seabuckthorn), which help protect your skin from oxidative and environmental damage. What up on my body is just as important as what I put in it so I was very happy to have to opportunity to try these products.
What I received:
Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner for normal hair

In addition to the propriety blend these products contain aloe and amino acids to add further nourishment to your hair. The sent is a delightful Pomegranate & Mellow Mint. I personally loved how soft my hair felt after using these two products combined.
Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner for dry/damaged hair

In addition to the proprietary blend, aloe and amino acids are found in these products with the addition of panthenol. The result is intended to be softer, shinier and more manageable hair. Perfect for anyone with dry or damaged hair, not so perfect for someone like me with an oiler scalp. I plan on passing these on to a friend who has drier hair. For those of who like strawberry scents and have dry or damaged hair these products are for you.

This body wash is surprisingly soap-free, yet still produces a good lather. It contains argan nut oil, which high in vitamin E and rich in essential fatty acid ,which leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth. Its Rosemary Sent is invigorating for your skin and smells delightful.

This is a great help to get out those stubborn tangles. I used it on my own hair but would not recommend someone with oiler hair using it. I can’t wait to try this out on the younger girls I take care of when they come back in a few weeks, who’s hair are constantly full of tangles. It has a wonderful tangerine sent.

Perfect for all skin types. The argan nut oil nourishes and moisturizes your skin. It is unscented, making it perfect for anyone who may have an allergy to strong fragrances. I like using this after a shower to keep my skin smooth and hydrated.

The results are the same as the Hand and Body Lotion but in a concentrated form for your hands, which typically are drier than the rest of your body. It is the perfect size to slip in your purse or backpack when on the go. It is unscented as well.
