Glass Dharma sent me a beautiful set of glass straws to review. I love eco-friendly products because I think it is important to waste as little as possible. I want to be a good steward of God’s creation. Every day so many straws as served with meals at restaurants and used in homes, the majority of them end up in landfills. Using these straws is a simple way to do your part in protecting our beautiful gift from God.

I was sent four of Dharma Glass’s straws, along with two cleaning brushes. Here they are, the Sipper Straw with Decorative Blue Dots (perfect for kids or a small glass), the Ice Tea Straw with Amber Decorative Dots, the Ice Tea Beautiful Bends Straw and the Simple Elegance Smoothie Straw. While I think that they are all beautiful and fun to use my favorite is their Beautiful Bends Straw. It is perfect for almost any beverage.
The Pros:
I love that they are eco friendly. If you use straws all the time then they will help you significantly lower your waste. They are more beautiful that your ordinary plastic straws. Glass Dharma shipping was very fast; I received the straws in two days! For more pros read the list above explaining their product.
The Cons:
They are an expensive buy ranging anywhere from $6.50 to $12.00 per straw. If you use straws regularly then you will end up saving money in the long run.
Over All:
I don’t see myself buying any of these straws in the near future with an exception to the Bubble Tea straw; I love to make Bubble Tea (Boba). (May be an early Christmas or birthday gift for myself?). I really don’t use straws often enough to get my money’s worth out of them. If you use straws frequently then I think that they are the straw for you!
