It is a blah day and I was tired of jeans and yoga pants. And I wanted to feel pretty. So  I curled my hair, put on a skirt, and some heels and felt like a princess. (To all you girls sitting in jeans like me, you should try this sometime! ) I then decided to run outside and get my sis to snap some pictures. And this is the result. Because I’m cool er silly like that. :D

**Warning, you are about to see my personality. My bubbly/silly side that no one besides my close friends and family sees. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.** :D

I warned you……

Don’t judge, I told you I was crazy.

However, the wind was against us. Not only did my curls turn into a big mess, but several photos turned into a  ”Marilyn” white dress moment. And it’s also one of the reasons that I prefer pants otherwise my skirts whip up….

I dance my way through life and when I fall, I pick myself back up.

Ignore my hair and the rolled up tank underneath. I need to chop all the hair off and I should have fixed that tank. I just wanted to show you one of my favorite necklaces. It reminds me to dream big and to believe. Don’t ask why, it just does. ;) And I can’t believe that I just posted these  crazy photos….

What I Wore-

Skirt- Thrifted
Shirt- Thrifted
Tank-Someplace
Necklace/Ring- Fantasy Jewelry Box
Boots- Thrifted

My sister and I stood out in the cold and took these photos, so don’t steal. I don’t like thieves, and these photos are un-edited and mine.

Winter is almost here. And just because it’s not summer anymore doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take care of your skin. SO, here are some handy tips on taking care of your skin for winter.

  • Dry Skin

It’s pretty common to have dry skin during the winter time. You can easily solve this problem by wearing gloves and using a good body lotion. Burts Bees has a amazing body lotion.

  • Chapped Lips

Ugh. Chapped lips! Almost everyone gets them in the winter time. But you can easily get rid of chapped lips by following these three steps-

1. Drink water- Yes. Drink LOTS and lots of water. This will really help not only your lips, but the rest of your body too!

2. Use a lip scrub- Softlips has a AMAZING  lip scrub. And it really does help your lips in the winter.

3. Lip balm- Lip balm is a must have for winter. Be sure to apply it throughout the day to ensure that your lips stay chap-free! I personally love EOS lip balm.

  • Dry Facial Skin-

Dry skin is also present on not only on your hands, but also on your face. You can easily solve this problem with a good facial cream. However,  I would recommend that you use a facial cream at night rather then during the day so your face doesn’t look oily.

I recommend Miracle Skin Transformer’s products. They really do work! But, if you want something at a lower price then try Yes! To Carrots facial cream. It’s lightweight and it works really well!

  • Exfoliate-

First of all, NEVER over Exfoliate. It can and will cause your skin to peel overtime, but you should use a good body scrub and facial scrub at least once a week. Not only will they help to clear your pores, but using a scrub will help to reduce oil on your skin. Once again, I love Burts Bees facial scrub. It rocks!

  • Dress warmly!

Really ladies! It’s winter, NOT summer. So dress warmly. The cold weather will dry out your skin, and if you don’t dress warmly then your skin will pay for it. So make sure that you wear your winter gear! ;)

What do you do to keep your skin healthy during winter?
